Last week we were in the direct path of Hurricane Ian and thankfully it changed direction 15 minutes before and went to other areas of Florida - the damages that were done to those areas was heart breaking and my prayers are with them. We are so very Lucky.
We had no power for a week and had damages but they are repairable. I had been researching for some time ways to be prepared for emergencies and going off the grid and what I would need if something happened that forced us to do just that. Food, water, emergency items to have on hand, etc. I honestly think alot about going off grid or going to some other country (unfortunately John wont) - Some of my research led me to Coreys Digs - She has been doing this a long time and is an amazing researcher.
