My hubby and I walk 2-3 miles, 3 times a week. We don't use traditional sunscreens because of the ingredients in most. We get checked annually and have no skin cancers at this time nor have we had any in the past. We choose to use Natural sunscreen oils. Certain oils can act as a natural sunscreen. These natural sunscreen oils are much better for sun protection as compared to artificial sunscreen creams. These oils contain SPF that helps to protect the skin. SPF basically stands for 'sun protection factor. Some oils have natural SPF or sun protection factor in them. Most of these natural sunscreen oils also have other benefits on the skin.

When I was diagnosed with Cancer 18 years ago, the type of cancer I was diagnosed with was from PESTICIDES being sprayed on our lawns - it was coming thru our tap water. I threw away all pesticides cleaning products etc and make my own with NON-harmful chemicals. We have NOT drank any Tap water for 18 years - we filter it all. We sometimes purchase organic but in the event we can't do that I wash and clean ALL produce before we eat it. It does not take alot of effort to do this. EWG is a great site for information on this and so many other things like water quality in every state and it is NOT good. But you can be proactive and clean all produce.
