I-Phone Battery Savings Tips ~~ 5 G, 4G or LTE
Another Lesson Learned - wanted to share ~~ Last week we decided to stay in our home during Hurricane Ian instead of leaving mainly because there were no hotels available. We were both having issues with our phones staying charged for very long espeically when the power went out (for one week) - Luckily my husband had two outlets in his new Truck we could charge them with. He was spending way too much time out in the truck, so I went on a search to find ways to try and make the battery last longer. Because I just got a cell phone about one month ago after 20 yrs without, I was clueless about them except to make a call and text.
John had some of these battery savers he talks about already on his phone, but the one he didn't was the switch to LTE instead of using 4G or 5G. It starts at 3:40 into this video which is where this video starts - I would listen thru to 6:00 into the call if you don't want to do them all - I didn't want 5G anyway and many do not even have it yet so it is looking for 5G I suppose which drains the battery alot. It made all the difference in the battery for both of us (hours). You may want to give it a try.
