New study indicates L-Serine may be useful in treating ALS, Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinsons and Cyanobacterial Neurotoxin BMAA Feb 2020
It is my belief, this is a Must Have Product to help to combat ALS, Alzeimers, Dementia and Cyanobacterial Neurotoxin BMAA. I completed research on L-Serine in October 2018 and the post about this is at the bottom of this post and where you can purchase it. More positive news from this report so I am so glad we have been taking it since then.
If you have a dog and take to the beach or water etc in any area (NOT just Florida), please read this so you know the dangers. I wrote a blog post about dogs in our area and the Vet who is helping bring awareness - click here to read that story from 2018

Costa, a 4-year-old golden retriever, looks and acts like an old dog.
Last September, Costa nearly died from eating a clump of toxic blue-green algae behind the house she shares with her owners, Adam and Ashley Guzi, on the St. Lucie River near Stuart.
"She's lucky to be alive," Ashley Guzi said, "but she hasn't been the same. She wears herself out quickly; her face has turned white, like an old dog's. Before the algae, she was still in her puppy phase; but now she acts like a senior dog."
Costa survived because Guzi took her quickly to a veterinarian who recognized the symptoms of an encounter with toxic algae.
Water hazards for pets
Blue-green algae isn't the only potential toxic threat to your pets in Florida waters. Other algae and bacteria known to make people sick, or even be fatal, can harm pets, too.

Understanding How Environmental Factors Affect Children’s Asthma
The Center for Environmental Research and Children’s Health at the University of California – Berkeley also looked at the effects of agriculture on children but they specifically looked at childhood organophosphate exposure. They found that exposure lead to increased asthma symptoms and decreased lung function. Another chemical they looked at was sulfur, specifically because it is a low-toxicity pesticide approved for both conventional and organic agriculture use. Poorer respiratory performance was associated with higher sulfur exposure. Link for this report
Understanding How Environmental Factors Affect Children’s Asthma
Sponsoring Program Name:
In the United States, 6.2 million children are affected by asthma, causing them to miss school, extracurricular activities, and other important events.
Environmental factors such as air pollution, mold, and secondhand smoke can worsen common asthma symptoms.
Research from the NIEHS/EPA children’s centers has increased understanding of what factors heighten asthma and what can be done to help children maintain a normal quality of life.
University of Iowa Children’s Environmental Airway Disease Center researched how children who live in rural communities are impacted by the agricultural settings surrounding them. There was a notion that rural life had a protective effect on childhood asthma, but this study showed that though the pollutants were different than those in urban settings, organic dusts and particles in rural areas still affected children.

Other Centers looked at the effect of traffic-related air pollution, including particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, among others. The underlying finding across all the centers was that children who live, attend school, or play near major roadways are more susceptible to asthma.
The University of Southern California Children’s Environmental Health Center specifically looked at the risk of asthma in children with no prior history of asthma and the onset of asthma in younger children living near roadways.
Researchers at the Center for the Study of Childhood Asthma in the Urban Environment at Johns Hopkins University used high-efficiency filters in homes with smokers. These filters resulted in 33 fewer days per year that contributed to asthma symptoms.
Research from these Children’s Centers continue to support advancements and increased understanding of how environmental factors affect children’s asthma. By understanding the elements that influence asthma, communities and families are better able to protect and help their children manage this chronic disease. This is great news!! Make it permanent NOT temporary - Our sea animals and WE need this stopped for our Health - there are alternatives that are NOT poison. The amount being sprayed into our waters is documented on their site and is frightening

CLEWISTON — In response to public complaints and concerns about chemical spraying to control aquatic plants, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission will temporarily suspend the aquatic herbicide spraying program.
On Jan. 23, Ramon Iglesias, who has been active in the movement to halt aquatic spraying, shared a letter online that he received from Kipp Frohlich, Division of Habitat and Species Conservation, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, “I wanted to let you know that beginning next week, I have directed staff to take a temporary pause in our aquatic herbicide treatment program throughout the state. During this pause staff will work to set up meetings where we can collect public comment regarding aquatic plant management. Once we have meetings set up I will be sure you are notified and hope that you will be able to attend. I hope I can also schedule a time when I can meet with you and Ms. Martin while I am in South Florida,” Mr. Frohlich wrote.

Thanks to CALUSA WATERKEEPER for sharing this informative article about L-Serine - I wrote about this in October and my family started taking the powder - It is a wonderful product and I have felt a noticeable difference. So has my husband. He has two parents with Alzheimers and we want to be sure we do everything we can NOT to get it, plus it has helped with the problems we were having from the Toxic Bacteria in the sand, air and water from our visits to the beach.
When I researched it in October at that time there were only 4 products available that I could find anywhere...in searching today its being offered by many more... Because it works. My original post included a video and testimonials plus where you can purchase the products. Original Post CLICK HERE
Could This Radical New Approach to Alzheimer’s Lead to a Breakthrough?
Big Pharma has spent billions and gotten nowhere. Here's what we could learn from a new theory.
By Rick Tetzeli
January 18, 2019
In a small lab in Jackson Hole, Wyo., 65-year-old Paul Cox believes he’s closing in on a treatment that might prevent Alzheimer’s disease. And ALS. And a host of other neurodegenerative diseases, for that matter. Cox, we should point out, isn’t a neurologist. He isn’t a physician of any kind. He doesn’t work at a big drug company or an academic medical center or a government laboratory. His ideas come from so far outside the mainstream of neurological research that you might think he’s crazy or deluded or worse. But then, some very credible people think he might be on to something big—which might make the improbable, quixotic story you are about to read one of the most important as well. Love this Air Purifier ~~ I had to get another one as my other one died after 10 years. There are so many toxins in our homes inside and out .. Now more than ever with cyanobacteria from the waters and so called Red Tide we all need a good quality air purifier. I have had a quality air purifier since I had a house fire and mold was hiding in the walls of our bathroom walls that we had no idea was there. It is so important to have one in your home now more than ever. Many of my friends and family have had breathing issues for the last year alone due to the toxic waters we now have. This is the one I chose after reviewing many.

Researchers in India have developed a compound that neutralizes organophosphate pesticides and are working to create a medicinal gel for farmers and landscape workers who suffer from neurotoxicity-related exposure.
Organophosphate exposures during pregnancy and child neurodevelopment: Recommendations for essential policy reforms
This Study is clear Oct 24, 2018 - There is NO safe level of exposure to any organophosphate pesticide for pregnant women, whose babies suffer disorders ranging from impaired mental and motor skills and memory loss to autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
I am lucky I suppose because I could not have children 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma - My child could have been diagnosed with the same.
What does it take to protect our children and ourselves from this poison??
The study is below the Summary Points and Recommendations:
To protect children worldwide, we recommend the following:
Peppermint is a fresh, stimulating oil, and when diffused, can enhance alertness and improve energy levels. Because of its menthol content, Peppermint is great for massage and can be applied to the temples and back of the neck to help with head and neck tension. Peppermint essential oil has decongestant and antihistamine properties that relieve asthma attacks.
Exposure to allergens such as dust mites and pollen trigger your body to release histamines, which in turn trigger asthma attacks. Peppermint inhibits the release of histamine in your body.
How to apply: Combine 2 drops of peppermint essential oil with one drop of lemon, 8 drops of lavender, and 20 drops of carrier oil. You can use carrier oils such as sweet almond, olive or jojoba. Rub your chest using this mixture twice in a day to prevent asthma attacks.
Suggested Use Dilute to 2-3% for topical applications.
Other Ingredients 100% Pure Essential Oils, Peppermint
