WIGS AND THINGS
The first thing that happened when I began my chemotherapy was shortly thereafter I began losing my hair. It started at the top and my long hair began falling out in clumps. I went in to First Choice Haircutters and had them cut my hair shorter and donated the 10 inches to a group who use this hair for children who have cancer. Great Place that do Great Things for Kids. Then when the shorter hair began falling off, I had my girlfriend Karen shave the rest in the comfort of my home. Some say they did not mind this and walked around with scarves or just bald and did not have a problem with that. I, on the other hand, hated it. I wanted a wig. And this can be fun - you can be a blonde, brunette, redhead whatever you want. We had a blast trying on wigs.
I bought alot of wigs and paid BIG money for some before I realized the best and cheapest source to buy wigs is Paula Young. Her website address is www.paulayoung.com. My favorites were Jaclyn Smiths line...one is pictured below.

One other tip about wigs:
Do not get your wig near any heat source - Including opening up the oven - the heat will ruin it. Not a good thing at all...
