John D. Layman, Sr.
July 31, 1934 - Oct 2, 2025
John D. Layman, Sr. 91. of Okolona passed away surrounded by family on Oct. 2, 2025. He was a Senior Master Sgr Retired from the Air National Guard. He also was Co-Owner of the prior J & R Outboard.
He was preceded in death by His loving wife of 73 years, Shirley Louise Winebrenner; 4 Children, Doug Layman (Laura), Debbie Miles (John), Dennis Layman (Wanda) and Dawn Allgood; grandchildren, Mike Layman, Leah Mills, Aaron Terry, Ashley Goodman, Jonathan Miles, Michelle Campbell and Matthew Layman; 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation
Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM followed by a Chapel Service.
A 21 gun salute will follow immediately after service.
Private burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at a later date.
