Does Red Light Therapy Work?

I absolutely love red light therapy! After doing a lot of research, I’m convinced it’s fantastic for relieving pain, boosting blood circulation, reducing inflammation, easing joint pain, and promoting cell regeneration. I deal with ongoing discomfort from back surgery and hand surgery, so I was excited to give it a try.

In May 2025, I found this affordable belt on Amazon for under $50 a a total steal compared to the much pricier options out there. I ordered it right away, and I’m so glad I did. Within just one week, I noticed a huge difference. Whenever I had pain, I’d wrap the belt around the area, and the relief was sometimes almost instant - other times it would take a little longer, especially using the pulsating mode.

My husband gave it a try for the aches he gets from playing softball, and it worked wonders for him too. We started using it so much that we bought a second one so we wouldn’t have to share! It comes with a handy carrying case, which made it super easy to take with me to Kentucky when I was caring for my parents before they passed. After my dad died, I stayed three extra weeks doing heavy work to get their house ready for sale. This belt was an absolute lifesaver — especially at night. I’d just lay it on the bed, lie on it for 30 minutes, and the pain would melt away.

I'm Back ~ So good to be back home

Sadly, my husband lost his father in February to Alzheimer's, followed by his mother in March, also to Alzheimer's. I lost my own mom in July to the same disease, and my dad on October 2nd due to COPD and heart complications. I have been out of town 5 out of the last 7 months in Kentucky. These past seven months have been the toughest I've ever faced. Knowing they're now in Heaven and free from suffering brings me a small measure of comfort. I am now home and can't wait to share with you guys the many things I have learned..
